Rebuild the narcotics and gangs unit so investigators can go after traffickers and dangerous offenders instead of chasing paperwork. Interdiction on our highways keeps product and cash from moving through Nye County.
Coverage for every community
Pahrump, Tonopah, Beatty, Amargosa, Round Mountain, and Smoky Valley all deserve real patrol presence and response times, not a promise that a deputy is somewhere on the way.
Restoring youth programs
Explorer programs, school partnerships, and youth outreach build trust early and pull kids away from the drug pipeline before enforcement is the only option left.
Accountability and victim support
Cases followed through to prosecution, victims kept informed, and clear standards for conduct inside the office. Trust is earned by being predictable and honest.
Recruiting and keeping good deputies
Training, mentorship, and a chain of command that backs deputies who do the job right. Retention is a public safety issue, not just a personnel issue.
Transparency with taxpayers
Plain answers about staffing, budgets, and results so residents can judge the office by what it actually delivers.
